Celebrando la Herencia Colombo-Venezolana

3’ x 5’

Acrylic Paint on Canvas

This painting was inspired by my Venezuelan and Colombian culture and heritage. I tried to encompass aspects shared between both cultures. The landscape in the background is based off memories I have from my childhood of the view from my aunts house, where you were able to see my grandma and uncles houses from a distance.

“Journeys From Africa to Milwaukee: Black Resistance and the Fight for Freedom Mural”.

8’ x 16’

Acrylic on Aluminum Panels

A mural created for Milwaukee Public Museum, now exhibited on the 3rd floor Africa Exhibition. The Mural concept explores the Trajectory of people from Northern Africa to the Americas pre and post-slavery, encompassing The Great Migration from the south to the north and how that influenced Milwaukee as a free state and the Milwaukee Modern Era.

This project was part of an internship with Milwaukee Public Museum. Its a collaborative mural painted with the help of fellow artists from MIAD, I was the project manager and lead Illustrator on the project. I created the Mural schematic in photoshop alongside graphic designer and artist Luis Velasquez, with feedback and requests from MPM.
